We are Valencia Modern Dentistry

Everyone here is so kind and caring!! They made coming to the dentist not scary and explained everything they were doing in the appointment, as well as discussing my treatment plan in depth.

I came to Valencia Modern Dentistry with my two boys for routine cleanings and check up for them and myself. I expected the normal and was genuinely (and pleasantly) surprised as to how amazing the entire experience was. You know the situation. You get assigned a task at work that is like wading through sewers but because you got "that one person" on your team, you actually look forward to it! It started off with Virginia (can I use names in this review???) in the front. She greeted me with a wonderful smile and enthusiasm that was contagious. I was a first timer so she asked me my name and I got checked in. I went and sat down. A few other individuals came into the office and she said "Oh hi" and then called them by name. I was amazed that the front office staff was able to remember people's names and cared enough about their patients in that way. I was then called back to do x-rays. Jesus was relaxed and curious while he walked me through the process of getting my x-rays. Valencia took additional pictures using a cool little device to look at different angles that other dentistry's I've been to in the past never did. Oh, remember those weird x-rays where you had to bite something that held out a circle about six inches from your face? Not here. Everything is modern. That's right, Valencia Modern Dentistry is not just a cleaver name. After my x-rays I was taken back by the Dental Hygienist. I've been to other dentistry's where the hygienist takes you back, cleans your teeth, maybe talks to you for a few minutes about how you can improve your teeth maintenance/care. Not at Valencia Modern Dentistry. I got Selina who explained to me everything she was doing and not only told me how I could improve, but also praised me where I did a good job. I then had my check up by Doctor Montgomery. Wow was he good. I watched as he looked at this 3d image Jesus took earlier and he was precise in his assessing every tooth. He asked me about my experiences with my teeth and confirmed several issues I had. Before anyone might think he is like a car repairman looking for things that don't need to be done, that is not the case. In fact, I have one molar that MAY eventually need something done on it, but he said it's fine as of the appointment. Once identified I needed two crowns (I guess they thought I was double royalty...ok, bad joke), they checked their schedule and had some open time that day to get them done. So, I was looking forward to getting my temporary crowns and having to come back and get them installed. WRONG!!!! Crowns are created in house and done the SAME DAY!!!! I was VERY happy mainly because this was the end of the year and my benefits were going to reset. I mean, let's be real, no one is "Happy" they are getting two crowns on the same day...However, they even stayed a little bit of time after closing to do more x-rays on my teeth once the crowns were installed to ensure there was no residue left. My two boys (thankfully were teenagers so I wasn't leaving tweens in the lobby) waited in the front lobby for me for a good chunk of the time. Both of my boys needed some additional work which they were able to do while I was also getting worked on. One needed a filling and the other needed some medicated stuff put onto his teeth. Once we were all done, we checked out and left. As dentists and dental experiences go, this was a 10 out of 10. I am definitely going to keep returning to this dentists office for everything. My son is scheduled to get his wisdom teeth removed in March, so I will update this on the oral surgeon after that experience. I definitely expect things to go the same way though. I'd be shocked if anything was different. Post Note: I did read some of the reviews prior to posting mine because I wanted to see if I was an anomaly or the norm. No, Miss Jessica Irwin (posted 1-star six months prior to my post), I am not incentivized for this post whatsoever. You referred to "Verrado page has other horror stories..." I think you posted to the wrong dentistry...

By far the best dentist I've ever been to from start to finish. Very kind staff too. Highly recommend. Very happy.
